PROBLEMS & PLIGHT
The Orang Asli are the poorest communities in Malaysia with the lowest education and economy status. Due to their poor nutrition diet, poor hygienic practices, their average life expectancy is only 54 years old.
One of the main issue that is threatening the survival of these indigenous people is the lack of clean drinking water. In recent years, their water sources had been badly polluted by logging and mining activities.
